'Salt: the Australian Army Education Journal was a compact magazine that provided information and entertainment for Australian servicemen and women during World War II. '
Salt' encouraged contributions from Australian and allied troops, including letters, stories, articles, poems, and illustrations.
Distributed free to all ranks, it featured articles, stories, poetry, and illustrations, often submitted by service personnel, to maintain morale and provide educational content to support post-war reconstruction.
