These letters were written by members of Queen Alexandra's Imperial Nursing Service (the QAs) and the Territorial Army Nursing Service (the TANS). The letter writers are not identified personally but very brief biog details are given. Covers the period 10 May 1940 to February 1942 and covers a number of theatres in which the British nurses worked such as France, Iceland, the Middle East, Africa, Malta and Singapore.
